Homemade Sushi Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Nori (~5 nori sheets)
- 6 tbsp sushi vinegar
- 1 1/2 cup white rice
- Sesame seeds
- 2 cups of water Filling
- Imitation crab
- Filling: Cucumber
Instruction
- Cook the rice in a rice cooker
- Once the rice is cooked, add the sushi vinegar and mix it thoroughly. Add sesame seeds for aesthetics
- Place your nori sheet onto a bamboo sheet (which should be wrapped in saran wrap)
- Spread the rice across 3/4 of the nori sheet
- Place the ingredients to fill up the horizontal row, approximately 1 piece of imitation crab and 1 strip of cucumber
- Roll the sushi, pressing the nori into the rice all the way to ensure the sushi is tight
- Slice it into pieces, then eat
