Pan-fried Pomfret
Ingredients
- 1~2 pomfrets for each individual
- Some ginger
- 1 spoon of salt
- Oil
- Cooking wine
- Chili powder
Instruction
- Clean the pomfrets and make a few slashes
- Marinate the pomfret with ginger, cooking wine, and salt for an hour
- Heat oil in a pan. Pan-fry the pomfret over low heat until both sides are golden and fragrant
- Sprinkle chili powder if you desire
Notes
This is a simplified recipe from my father. He learned it from a TV program years ago and cooks it every time I went back home. I've simplified it due to laziness. Maybe I will try the full version in the future when someone I care about so much appear.
