Grandma's Delicious Colorful Porridge (奶奶美味多彩粥)

Ingredients

  • Rice
  • Greens, e.g. bok choy
  • Sweet potato
  • Pork, or any meat you want
  • Mushroom
  • Carrot
  • Corns

Instruction

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add meat and stri-fry, add salt and soy sauce
  2. Wash the rice and let it soak in water for 30 minutes, then put it into the pot
  3. Add about 6–8 times the amount of water to the pot. After the water boils
  4. Add sweet potatoes and corn
  5. Add the stir-fried meat, mushroom, and carrots (or anything else you want) to the pot
  6. Keep boiling and stirring for around 45 minutes until done

Notes

Sometimes my grandma cooked this porridge, and I really love it! However, I only ate it but haven;t made it... So here is what I imaged how to cook it. Not sure how exactly it will turn out if following the instruction, we'll see...
