Double-skinned Milk

Ingredients

  • 500ml milk
  • 3 big eggs (using **only the egg white**)
  • Sugar (as you like)

Instruction

  1. Heat the milk until **little bubbles** appear at the edge. Pour the heated milk into a bowl and wait for the **skin** to form
  2. Mix the egg white and sugar
  3. Use a **toothpick** to separate the skin. Pour the milk into the egg white mixture
  4. Filter the mixture, pour it back into the bowl, and **steam for 10 minutes**, when you plug the toothpick, it won't fall, and the dessert should be ready

Notes

This is noted as a traditional dessert in Fujian.
