Section 2: Crafting Sustainable Futures Visions

For the Spring 2023 exhibition at NYU Libraries' Bobst Gallery, campus community members, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni, were invited to propose and develop artistic pieces inspired by NYU Reads selections and This Is Not A Drill artworks, put in dialogue with topics of ecological sustainability, environmental justice, and the power of hope in navigating the climate emergency. The show creatively envisioned a world that recognizes our shared responsibility for preserving the planet we all call home.

Crafting Sustainable Futures Visions opened on March 21, 2023, and was on view with *This Is Not A Drill* 2022 selected artworks and NYU 2040 Now Showcase selections through June 30, 2023.
