Chapter Objectives

By the end of this chapter, you will be able to:

  • Greet, meet, say goodbye, or farewell, and introduce yourself and others in formal and informal situations.
  • Exchange basic information about yourself and others.
  • Talk about basic daily activities.
  • Describe yourself and others.
  • Explore different Hispanic cultures and traditions when greeting or meeting one another and the courtesies that are exchanged on a day to day basis.
  • Explore inclusive language and how it is currently being used in the Hispanic/Latinx world.
