Andrew Sun

My name is Andrew Sun, and I am a New York City-based Chinese American image maker. My work centers on visual storytelling, cultural identity, and community, with a focus on fashion and portraiture. I explore themes of belonging, heritage, and self-expression, often highlighting the intersection of traditional and contemporary influences. My images capture intimate moments and bold aesthetics, emphasizing the resilience of underrepresented voices. Through my photography, I aim to bridge cultural gaps and elevate Asian American narratives.

Artwork in the Artist's Words: A black-and-white photo series capturing the fragility of Elizabeth Street Garden, highlighting its quiet resilience against urban development.
