Nota cultural: Salir a bailar
In several Spanish-speaking countries, especially in big cities, going out to a discoteca, or boliche, as nightclubs are commonly called in Argentina, is a late-night affair. Locals usually start the night with dinner around 9 or 10 p.m., and it's common to meet friends for drinks (previa) before heading out. Most nightclubs don’t get busy until 2 or even 3 a.m., and people often dance until sunrise. It's part of the culture to stay out late and enjoy the night at a relaxed pace, don’t be surprised if you see people grabbing breakfast on their way home!
