Para escribir

Here are some prompts to help you practice your writing skills. You can make a copy of this Google Doc and work on it at your leisure. Remember to use the vocabulary and grammar used in the chapter, without any outside help!

Prompt 1: Write a message to a friend telling them about your favorite animal(s). Where do they live? What do they eat? Why do you like them? Describe their habitat and some physical characteristics, and mention some environmental issues that could endanger them.

Prompt 2: Write a letter to the local government to discuss environmental issues that your city has faced  in recent years, such as pollution, fires, or natural disasters.  Make sure to use the present perfect tense for this. Also, describe some animals that are vital to the city’s natural life. Finally, using the future tense, mention what things will happen in the future if the government does not fight climate change.

Prompt 3: You are an environmentalist, author of a blog called Por un mundo mejor. Write a post about what you and your community have and have not done for the environment (present perfect), what you will do in the coming years (future tense), and what you would do with more funds and resources (conditional tense).
