When I started getting submissions, I filled out a template as an example. Until then, I didn't realize how hard it was going to be. I hate when people ask me for my favorite anything - I'm extremely indecisive, I've lived in a lot of places, and I have an addictive personality. Quite the combination, right? I really challenged myself to be honest with my selections and took my time. At first, I wanted to limit myself to Philadelphia, where I live, but I quickly realized that so many of my best food memories come from my core values - family, travel, and trying new things. So I opened it up to anywhere in the world, and the inspiration came flowing.
