Emily was another Upwork hire, a nurse from Kentucky. She was one of the only entries not in the tri-state area, a relief for me, who was hoping to get a wider spectrum of responses. I would love to hear more about Emily's food story because as a nurse, I can only imagine how busy her life is. I can only speculate, but it seems like a lot of her selections are oriented around efficiency and consistency. Like Emily, I have a go-to Starbucks (iced tea) and McDonald's order (two hamburgers, no fries). I have a preferred drink at Sonic. Similar to Laura, her go-to pizza is Papa John's. I found myself filling in the blanks of her life based on what she eats, possibly the point of this entire 'zine project.
